'The Sacred Magic of Abra-Melin, as delivered by Abraham the Jew unto his son Lamech', was translated in the nineteenth century by S.L. MacGregor Mathers from a French manuscript which in turn, according to its title page, was translated in 1458 from an earlier Hebrew document.

The Second book of the Sacred Magic of Abra-Melin the Mage - Abraham gives instruction to Lamech his son on how to obtain the Magical powers required to put his Sacred Magic into effect.

The Third book of the Sacred Magic of Abra-Melin the Mage - Abraham gives instruction to his son on how to apply the powers gained to produce diverse Magical effects including transforming the self or others, flying through the air, becoming invisible and finding treasures.
